Envitech has a proven background in the development and management of CQA plans. The plans identify the monitoring activities required, particularly in the case of any non-conformance, and integrate the project specifications and drawings with the QC programs of the manufacturer and installer, to minimize any overlaps and to avoid any gaps. The objective of CQA is to ensure that the liner is installed according to the project specifications, with the best possible workmanship, and within the constraints of the budget and schedule. CQA should contribute positively to the quality of the lining system.

We offer a proven capability in the following key areas:

CQA services are provided independently from the manufacturer, installer, and owner, including:

• Verification of calibration and condition of on-site testing equipment
• Assigning locations for testing and sampling
• Overseeing the collection and shipping of all laboratory test samples
• Reviewing the results of laboratory testing and making appropriate recommendations

CQA plans provide the means and actions to assure conformity of the geomembrane manufacturing, installation, and testing procedures, the project drawings, and the Project Specifications, and to assure at least a state-of-practice quality of workmanship.

CQA laboratory services including conducting tests, at an independent laboratory, on samples of geomembrane taken from the Manufacturer’s plant or from the site and on seam samples taken from the site.

Leak detection services can be provided, post installation, to ensure that the final installed liner system has not been compromised in any way due to construction activities. Both permanent and temporary, electronic systems are used to monitor leak detection.

Electric Leak Location (ELL) Surveys are carried out on geomembrane lined systems with state-of-the-art equipment in accordance with applicable ASTM Standards. Advice on design aspects of liner installations is offered to enable ELL surveys to be carried out.
