The Kemapco Project is owned by a joint venture between Kemira, a company from Finland and the Arab Potash Company, which is owned by the Jordanian Government. The site is situated approximately 20 km South of the City of Aqaba and is located near the Jordan – Saudi Arabia border. The project, comprising a new evaporation pond is part of the expansion of the process plant for potassium nitrate and di-calcium phosphate.
